Full credit to Alexscorpion for creating the mesh and then skinning and reskinning and reskinning again when the end result kept looking freaky. (Turns out it was a problem with Fallout. True genius and precognitist that he is, Alex kept doing it all properly and the fallout engine was just not ready for it yet (read: crap). After one of the updates to the game, et viola! Everything looked right.)

This mod removes the giant fuel tank from the player's back when the flamer is equipped and adds a smaller, more manageable bottle of accelerant to the side of the actual weapon model. Included is an ESP (My only contribution :p) that keeps the weapon from removing your backpack graphic when it's equipped.

Take note:

When you "holster" your weapon with the R key, the gun will just *poof* like it normally does; but now you've got nothing indicating what sort of weapon you have equipped, so if you're absent minded or have been running around in town for a while talking to NPCs, you may have a moment of panic when you run into anything that requires you to use anything more than harsh language. Nothing has changed, you still pull the monster gun just as slowly as before, but you may find yourself scrabbling for your pipboy to equip a weapon if you've forgotten you have it equipped.

I'm sure there's a way to change the weapon so that it will sling across your back or down your side or whatever, I have no clue how to do it, all I did for this mod was create the esp. Perhaps someone with those types of skills will stop by and decide to do it. I would ask Alex again, but I really and truly have been a royal pain to him the entire time (I'm so sorry Alex) and I absolutely don't want to bring him any more trouble.
