Permissions and credits
Complete movement and attack control over any creature or human in the game. Make them kill themselves, attack their allies, use them as transport, do whatever you want with them.

============
Features
============

*Take over any creature or NPC
*Optional karma system
*Optional realism system
*Change the dismount location to either the player or the controlled character
*Choose an alternate weapon for use with the right mouse
*Toggle combat on a character so they can automatically fight any of their enemies that are around.
*Turn a creature or human's allies against him by making him kill someone friendly.

============
Controls
============

Use your movement keys to move, the mouse to aim, and the jump key to jump. Hold shift to walk slowly.

*Menu Key: Toggle combat.
*Numpad +/-: Change the camera's position.
*Numpad *: Set the camera to the default position.
*Wait Key: End the session.
*Attack: Attack with whatever weapon the controlled character had equipped when you took over.
*Block: Humans attack with the selected alternate weapon. For creatures it's their melee attack. For super mutants, it's an assault rifle that kills allies in one hit and has normal strength for anything else.

============
Aiming
============

At first, aiming can be tricky, but you'll get good at it after the first few times.

To aim and shoot, place the target in the center of the screen and press the left or right mouse button. They have to be in the center (where the crosshair would be), and they have to be within the players normal activation distance.

When you click you have to wait for the controlled character to pull out their gun and shoot the target, and moving will cause it to stop.

FAQ
============

Q. Can I use your code in my mod?
A. Yes, just give me credit and tell me what you're doing first.

Q. Didn't you get this code from the rideable creatures mod?
A. No, I did not take any of this code from any of the rideable creatures mods.

Q. When is aiming going to be improved?
A. At the moment, I don't really think it can be improved without messing up the killing your ally system.

Q. Can I take over creatures in other mods or in DLCs?
A. You should be able to, but don't expect the killing your ally system to work on any creatures that have their own new faction.

Requirements
============

You will need FOSE (fose.silverlock.org) to properly use this mod.

============
Instructions
============

Extract the contents of the zip file to your Fallout 3\data\ folder.

When you start the game you will have an item in your inventory called [Mind Control] Add Perk. You can use this to add the mind control perk which will give you the config items and the ability to take over characters. You can also get the perk by being at least level 10 and having a science skill of 60, and then choosing it in the perk menu of the level up screen.

Then, to take control of someone, go into sneak mode and activate them. You will have the option to control or pickpocket.

============
Bugs
============

*You can't swim with any controlled character right now, and going in water will cause the mind control session to end.

*Rapidly pressing one fire key or simultaneously pressing both as a super mutant can sometimes crash the game. Press one and wait at least five seconds.

*Some creatures, such as the Super Mutant Behemoth, prevent the player from aiming properly since they are always what's in the center of the screen.

*Aiming at items or objects is harder to do than aiming at characters. Move around the object until it works.
