Description

Adds Real lighting to Megaton.

Non modded Megaton lights only have lightbeams but they dont actually generate light. This mod makes the lights more noticeable, realistic and more attractive by making them generate light ! You now can walk around town and see all the shops lit up.

This is most noticeable for people who you use Fellout or other mods that make the nights darker.

The lighting has been done in a realistic way eg I have not added lighting where there is not a light source.

Screenshots
Have a look at the screenshots for a comparison. Both the original fallout and Lighting overhaul screenshots were taken around the same time ( 9pm-2am ).

(screenshots were taken with fellout installed)
Please Note that these screenshots are dark because of the much darker nights that Fellout causes. If you use Megaton
Lighting Overhaul without Fellout then Megaton will be as bright as normal but with the enhanced lights effect. (eg the lights actually giving off light)

Installation

unzip Megaton Lighting Overhaul.rar into a temporary location.
Copy the megalight.esp into your fallout\Data directory.
Activate the esp in Fallout mod manager and your done.

(it is recommended to load this after fellout (if you use it), but probably not necessary)

Uninstallation

Uncheck megalight.esp in Fallout Mod manager.

Known Issues

- the enhanced lighting may not be visible from long distances. It depends on what you have your light slider set to in fallout settings.

- sometimes ground light reflection will flicker when turning your character, this seems to be a fallout engine issue, which cant be fixed. But its barely noticeable.
