Changes In Version 5.4
***********************
1) I have cluttered the Vault 1 Transport Terminal.
2) I have cluttered the Riverside Hotel Lobby.
3) Added arcade games to Vault 1 Pub and access tunnel lounge.
4) Created new dorm rooms in access tunnel.
5) Added new sculptures. Rubics cube.
6) Added lava lamps to Vault 1.
7) Added free swimming fish to Mirelurk tank in Vault 1.
8) Added large aquarium to reception area in Vault 1.

Important: Many of the changes that Ive made for V5.4 can be controlled via computer terminals. Please take the time to explore them and find out what they do.
I would recommend that existing users enable and disable all of thier options at least once to make sure they are all working as they should.I have enclosed
in the zip file pics of where the key teminals are. Some rendershave been added to existing scripts such as the water effects for the shower girls. The changes to these scripts will not take effect untill they are reactivated.

RR Refurbished is an addon esp which clutters and adds several NPC's and enhanced features to RR Companions Vault.

Features Include
1) Animated Shower Girls which can be disabled if desired.
2) Enhanced lighting effects to warm up the environment.
3) Fire places which can be turned on and off.
4) New textures for rugs.
5) Merged esp's with "Fallout Shelter & Museum.
6) Merged esp's with the "Riverside Apartments".
7) Aquariums.
8) Pub Band and 3 groups of 4 pub dancers.
9) Live wasteland animal display.
10) International Flag Themes.
11) Various lighting themes available for some areas.
12) General enhanced decor.
13) All npc's can be customized with clothing including the
pub band and dancers by opening dialogue with them and
using the "would you like new things" option. They will
then return to their respective animations.
15) Automatic doors can now be enabled and disabled from
console in the Overseers bedroom.
16) Many new textures and meshes.
17) New area added "Northern Retreat"
18) New Transport Terminal added to move you to Tenpenny
Tower, Fallout Shelter, Northern Retreat, and the
Riverside Hotel.

19 New hair styles have been utilized using Nos's Cosmetic
Resource and necklaces have been given to the Refurb
NPC's.

RR Refurbished V5.3 is up to date with NosRhyfelwr's RR Companions Vault Master v5.63 or later and will be required in order to use this plugin for RR Companions Vault.

You will also require THE LATEST "UMPA ANIMATION" to be installed in order for the "BED GIRL" and the "SHOWER GIRLS" and the Band to work properly. Be sure you have his latest file or the band will not work.

INSTALATION:
************

PLEASE BE SURE TO INSTALL ALL MESHES AND TEXTURES FOR V5.3 BECAUSE OF THE ADDED MATERIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For existing users. Please Remove items in the following locations prior to installation or items will be lost.

1)Remove items from all enclave foot lockers in the vault1 armory.
2)Remove all items from the main vault1 bedroom dressers and footlockers.
3)Remove all items from the dressers in the vault1 lower bathroom.
4)Remove any items from the Vault1 medical room.
5)Remove any items from the Riverside Hotel bedroom dressers.
6)Remove any items from the Riverside Hotel guestroom dressers.
7)If I forgot anything Im sorry.

***I would highly recommend making a save in the wasteland prior to installing RR Refurbished.


Be sure to delete any previous versions of RR_Refurbished prior to installing.

A)If you are already using the mods "Fallout Shelter by LochAlpha" and "Riverside Apartments by TheManiac" you will need to remove any important objects from these mods then go into the wasteland and make a clean save.

B) Quit the game then delete the esp's for "Fallout Shelter by LochAlpha" and "Riverside Apartments by TheManiac" from your Data directory. Follow instructions below.


1) Delete from Fallout3 Data directory any of my previous
clutter mods to avoid conflicts with my newer version.

2) Extract RR Companions Vault Refurbished.esp to the
Fallout3 Data Directory.

3) Extract the meshes & textures folder from the zip file
to a temporary location and copy meshes & textures
contents to the meshes and textures folders in your
Fallout3 Data Directory. The "BookCasedoor3d'
file should just be in the Data folder, not meshes or
textures.

For new Users be sure to download and install Refurbised
v5.3 Resources as well. I forgot to add them to the main
zip file.Install the Resource file the same as above.

4) Disable then re-enable Archive Invalidation Invalidated.

5) Open FOMM and load RR Refurbished.esp after RR
Companions Vault Master esm. Place any of ttomwv's addon
esp's before Refurbished. As a general rule Refurbished
should be loaded in last position of other RR Mods. I
have not tested all of the other RR Mods so it will be
up to you to figure out the best load order for
additional RR Mods.


Sound File installation.
*************************

There are three directories located in "\Data\Sound\Songs". It is up to you to place music into these directories but it must be a certain format in order to work.

It must be converted to to wav format. It must be converted at 32000hz at 16 bit mono. Ive been using Switch Sound Audio Converter. You can find it here. http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html

Just place a song with a male singer in the "Male Singer" folder, and songs with a female singer in the "Female Singer" folder. I also have a folder for instrumental as well.

Be aware that you may put as many files in each folder as you like but when a band preference is left to run it will not automatically go to the next song in that directory. You will have to disable the band and then re enable the band preference to make it play another selection. The sound marker will randomly play what is in that folder but only when first activated. This is a game limitation.




Possible Problems & Conflicts
********************************

1)Several users have experienced a re naming of the RR Refurbished.esp by using FO3 Edit or FO3 Update. This causes the mod to not correctly over write the master file and create major clipping usues. If you have these issues please verify that the Refurbished.esp has not been renamed to Refurbished.esp_back or .tmp or something to that effect. I would also recommend manually installing this mod, many users have had problems when trying to install using FOMM.

2)Do not use RR Umpa Dance with RR Refurbisehed as it has already been incorporated into RR Refurbished.

3)If you are useing the RR Sorter mod, you must load it before the Refurbished esp or the juke box and pictures and safes may be misplaced.

4)If there is any unusual behavior such as walls out of place and tables inside of walls or just general mehem, verify the sufix to RR Refurbished is "esp" and not "bak or "temp". I highly recommend installing manually, problems have been reported from installing using FOMM.

5)Sometimes when the stone floor in the main pool room is disabled, two sections will fail to disappear right away. When you leave the vault and go back in they will disappear.

6)When using the flag themes it is best to diable all first then choose the one you want after. Sometimes a previous theme still overlays the newly chosen one.

7)When using the Pub Band, Dancers and Stage Effects I would recommend enabling each one separately or one at a time. If they are all enabled at the same time some charactors may not appear or perform thier required animations. I believe this to be a memory issue, too much at once.
I would highly recommend disabling all Pub band and dance activities prior to leaving the vault. The extra memory usage may create problems when trying to reenter the vault as they will continue to work when you reenter the vault.

7)When disabling any charactor such as the band, dancers or the shower girls the automatic doors will stop working until you leave and reenter the vault. I just go into the Overseer closset and go back in to get them working again. For some reason disabling npc's also disables the door activators as well, dont know why.

8)Do not use the RR Posters esp with Refurbished or they will be out of place.

9) In the Northern Retreat there are several speakers which are attatched to the Juke Box in the pool room. Each one can be enabled and disabled by activating or deactivating them. I will script them in for the next version.




Merged Esp's
*************
I have merged two of my favourite mods into Referbished. I have merged "Fallout Shelter" by "LochAlpha",and "Riverside Apartments" by "TheManiac". The entrances to these two new areas are accessed via the the Vault1 Transport Terminal in the access tunnels. I have added the original readme's for these two fantastic mods in the zip file so be sure to read them for thier respective important information.

Important Performance Issues
*******************************
This mod can be very graphics intensive on older PC's.Be aware that the more followers you have in the Vault, the more laggy it may become. I have incorporated a console command into the door scripts leading into the Vault, as well as the other two areas, to purge the cell buffer before entering these cells. I have tested it and it works quite well.

I would also highly recommend that you check out Large Address Aware Enabler for FO3. You can find it here

The Large Address Aware Enabler for FO3 has created an entirely new experience of the game on Win7 64bit. It may also help you on 32 bit systems as well, although it did not help me in that respect on my XP partition.

If you want better performance without sacrificing graphics quality I would highly recommend NMCs Texture Pack for FO3. You can find it here:
