About this mod

Very Simple Mod that moves the Vanilla clutter from getting to your Megaton House, moves the megaton fast travel marker to your home, and adds a discoverable fast travel marker to your Tenpenny Suite (if you decide to live there). Check the Images for a better understanding of what I modified.

Permissions and credits
Now you can go home in one keystroke of the "w" key!
Now you can fast travel to your Megaton Home almost instantly!
Or..
You can "decide" to get your Tenpenny Suite, and discover a fast travel marker on the balcony!
Very Basic modding.
Check the IMAGES for a better understanding of what I modified.
This is something I modded for myself, and now I am sharing.

Name: Megaton and Tenpenny House Easy Access
Version: V1.1
Date: 05/03/2009
Category: Gameplay Changes and Effects
Author: alividlife

Version 1.1 is the second to last version, final will be done when I script some requirements for each map marker. It also fixes some NavMesh problems with NPC patrols in megaton. Also added a base reference id..

Description
===========

This is a very basic mod, that uses all vanilla clutter, to make access from the entrance of the "MegatonWorld" cell to the player home a very quick and easy situation. It also moves the fast-travel map marker of Megaton within a couple meters of the players home.
Nothing else is changed in Megaton.
If you "decide" to live in the Tenpenny Tower, and you discover the entrance to your Tenpenny Suite's balcony, you will then have a fast travel map marker for quick and easy access.

Even if you don't move into the Tenpenny Tower, you can still discover the fast-travel marker for the "Tenpenny Suite". I personally don't feel this is a big deal.. but I am still working on some scripting so this won't be possible-- UNLESS you complete "The Power Of The Atom" quest. BUT it is not a high priority for me. This mod is not going to be updated until I learn more scripting. And at my current pace of learning the scripting process, it could be a couple of months from this release date as of 05/03/2009.

Install AND Recommended UTILITY Downloads
=======

If this is the first mod you have ever downloaded (and i doubt that)
you should read:
How To Use Fallout 3 Mods

Also, Download FOMM:
Download Fallout Mod Manager

AND you definitely have to do this, NOT FOR THIS SPECIFIC Fallout 3 MODIFICATION, but for any mod that adds new textures,
Download ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated

This file was packed using winrar, but if you don't have winrar, there is a free utility at the Nexus which can be
found at:
Download 7-Zip Archive Utility from TESNexus

I really recommend FO3edit, after installing and loading AND READING THE README!!! Double click the FO3edit.exe from your "/data" folder, and by right clicking you can make a UBER-COMPILED MOD that, you guessed it..., compiles all mods into one. Close FO3edit, and say yes to the new patch save..... this will lessen the likeliness of crashing, in theory.. It can also find conflicting errors for you too, DOWNLOAD AND USE THIS, you won't regret it:
Download FO3edit

And also.. pressing the "~" console key, and typing PCB (or Purge Cell Buffer) is NEVER a BAD IDEA every 10 minutes or so.
It "can" makes the game run smoother.

STEPS TO INSTALL
---------------------------------------------
1. Unzip Megaton and Tenpenny Easy Access.esp to your Fallout 3\Data folder. Unless you changed it it's probably

"C:\Program\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data".

2. Start the Fallout launcher or FOMM, select "Data Files" and check Megaton and Tenpenny Easy Access.esp.

3. Run the game.
---------------------------------------------

Uninstall
=========

1. Start Fallout 3 Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the Megaton and Tenpenny Easy Access.esp file.
2. Delete the Megaton and Tenpenny Easy Access.esp from Fallout 3\Data. Done.
3. Do keep in mind that whenever you remove any modification from Fallout 3 data, you will receive a warning "This game relies on content no longer available, continue anyway?" This is completely ok for this mod, others can ruin saves-- just a warning.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================

There are no known issues or bugs, but I have not rigorously tested with companions during fast-travel to the Tenpenny Suite Marker, and I hope your companion will not fall off the balcony... hasn't happened to me yet....

This mod has been optimized and should run with any system capable of playing Fallout 3-- but
I cannot be responsible for any damage/fires/explosions/CTD's to your machine while running this mod.

Again, please let me know if you have any issues... I don't know A lot, but I know enough, and I may be able to help you.

History
=======

1.0 Released 05/01/09

1.1 Released 05/03/09 with a quick update

Version 1.1 fixed some NavMesh problems, the map markers and other minor details. This should be the final. You will get a warning when changing out version from 1.0 (if you already had it, but I doubt it) or from removing the data file.
