Why so many different files?
1. This allows you greater customization to raise the caps to what you want.
2. The way caps are distributed to vendors in Fallout 3 might or might not be how you expect. A base sum is given based on level and then a random amount of caps and change is added to that. So doubling the caps will double everything but it still might not be that much of a difference.
Bug Report

Sometimes when selling to a vendor you will not receive caps. This is a bug in Fallout 3 that I have no control over. Waiting 3 days seems to resolve it so somehow the vendors actual caps gets misrepresented. From what I can tell, it's a rare occurrence.
Install
---------
Place chosen files from the zip into the Data folder of your Fallout 3 folder. You only need to enable 1 in fomm or the launcher. They will cancel each other out so it won't hurt anything but there's no reason to.
Check it in FOMM or the Fallout launcher.
Uninstall

Uncheck it in FOMM or the Fallout launcher. You can also delete the file in the Data folder (optional).
I released a mod titled "Caps Doubled" that in essence does what the 2X here does but not exactly. The 2X file included offers increased compatibility with other mods that you use and more accurately represents double the caps so I recommend replacing that mod with the 2X mod here.
