Version 3 now out, which uncaps Barter, Medicine, Repair, and Sneak.

Some people have reported this mod as unstable. Many others have found it to be very stable. Use it at your own risk, and keep a savegame before you started using this mod.

Other Mods:
===========

To get the most out of this mod, the following mods are necessary:
Level Cap Increaser - This allows you to effectively increase your level past level 20, and therefore is essential if you want to get the benefits of having more points invested in skills.
Level Cap Increaser Skill Workaround - This allows you to allocate points past 100 to your skills. Obviously, very important.

Description:
============

This mod gives you benefits for having skills past 100. You can therefore now become a true "Wasteland Master", and feel very powerful at higher levels. There is finally a point to adding skill points when using the Level Cap Increaser! The new skill effects are capped out at 250 (compared to 100 in the original game). Currently the skills effected are: Small Guns, Big Guns, Energy Weapons, Explosives, Melee Weapons, Unarmed, Barter, Medicine, Repair, and Sneak.

The Benefits:
=============

Small Guns - for every 5 points over 100, you gain +2% damage with small guns
Big Guns - for every 5 points over 100, you gain +2% damage with big guns
Energy Weapons - for every 5 points over 100, you gain +2% damage with energy weapons
Explosives - for every 5 points over 100, you gain +2% damage with explosives
Melee Weapons - for every 5 points over 100, you gain +2% damage with melee weapons
Unarmed - for every 5 points over 100, you gain +2% damage with unarmed weapons (including your fists)
Barter - for every 10 points over 100, the price of buying any item is reduced by 2%
Medicine - for every 5 points over 100, you deal +2% damage to creatures
Repair - for every 5 points over 100, you deal +5% damage to robots
Sneak - for every 5 points over 100, your sneak attack criticals deal +5% damage

How To Use:
===========

This mod does everything automatically and invisibly, from the moment you start the game. You will notice the benefits as soon as one of the effected skills hits 105. However, currently the game does not display skill values of over 100 (they are stored obviously, but just not displayed). Therefore, the only way to check your current skill values if they are over 100 is to use the console:

~ to open the console
player.getav xxxxxxx
where xxxxxxx is the name of the skill, either "smallguns", "bigguns", "energyweapons", "explosives", "meleeweapons", "unarmed", "barter", "medicine", "repair", or "sneak"

A better system for this is being investigated in future versions. Even if you can't see the value over 100, rest assured that it is giving you benefits.

Installation:
=============

1. Move "WastelandMastery.esp" to the Fallout 3/Data directory.
2. Go to Data Files in your FO3 launcher menu and check "WastelandMastery" you chose
3. Have fun :)

Upgrading:
==========

DO NOT DO A "CLEAN SAVE"- SIMPLY CHANGE STRAIGHT FROM THE OLD VERSION TO THIS ONE
1. Replace the old "WastelandMastery.esp" with this new one
2. Load your save game that previously had the old version active

Uninstall:
==========

There is an extremely frustrating bug in Fallout 3 that prevents you from Uninstalling perk mods. Therefore, the best thing to do is to simply not remove this mod once you have started using it. And really, there's no reason to uninstall it.

Compatibility:
==============

This should be compatible with everything.

History:
========

22.1.09
Version 3.0
+Bonuses for Barter added
+Bonuses for Medicine added
+Bonuses for Repair added
+Bonuses for Sneak added

24.12.08
Version 2.0:
-Completely stable version
-Non-combat skills removed, as they were causing bugs
-Effect increments changed to 5 for a more smooth feel
-Bonuses slightly reduced (+4% per 10 points, rather than +5%)
-Melee and Unarmed now work based on percentages, not raw +DMG

24.12.08
Version 1.1: Quick fix removing the sneak bonuses, as they appear to have been bugged

23.12.08
Version 1.0: Initial Release

I am looking at ways to implement the other non-combat skills. Also ways to display the actual value of skills over 100 are being investigated, although hopefully this will be addressed by an independent UI mod.
