This mod allows you to change the chance that body parts will be dismembered or explode. Included are options to disable dismemberment and/or body parts exploding, even with the Bloody Mess perk. (Blood will still be enabled, though.)

NOTE: The tweaks in this mod have not been extensively tested, and may not be the best values. Comments encouraged!

This mod allows you to change the chance that body parts will be dismembered or explode. Included are options to disable dismemberment and/or body parts exploding, even with the Bloody Mess perk. (Blood will still be enabled, though.)

Install
=======
1. Copy the .esp files to your Fallout 3\Data\ folder (default install path is C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data)
2. Start Fallout 3 Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the .esp file(s) you want enabled:

Options
=======
Standard Gore Options:
No dismemberment: GT_No_Dismemberment.esp
Less dismemberment: GT_Less_Dismemberment.esp
More dismemberment: GT_More_Dismemberment.esp
Always dismember: GT_Always_Dismemberment.esp
AND/OR
No exploding body parts: GT_No_Exploding_Parts.esp
Less exploding body parts: GT_Less_Exploding_Parts.esp
More exploding body parts: GT_More_Exploding_Parts.esp
Always explode body parts: GT_Always_Exploding_Parts.esp

Bloody Mess Perk Options:
No exploding torsos: GT_BM_No_Exploding_Torsos.esp
Less exploding torsos: GT_BM_Less_Exploding_Torsos.esp
More exploding torsos: GT_BM_More_Exploding_Torsos.esp
Always explode torsos: GT_BM_Always_Exploding_Torsos.esp
AND/OR
No full dismemberment*: GT_BM_No_Full_Dismemberment.esp
Less full dismemberment*: GT_BM_Less_Full_Dismemberment.esp
More full dismemberment*: GT_BM_More_Full_Dismemberment.esp
Always full dismemberment*: GT_BM_Always_Full_Dismemberment.esp

Combined Settings:
No gore: GT_No_Gore.esp (No gore, even with the Bloody Mess perk; blood still enabled, though.)
No Bloody Mess Gore: GT_No_Bloody_Mess_Gore.esp (Standard gore remains the same, all Bloody Mess gore off.
Basically, makes Bloody Mess only a damage increase perk.)

*Full dismemberment with the Bloody Mess perk is when all the limbs and head pops off when killed.

Uninstall
=========
1. Start Fallout 3 Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp files.
2. Delete the .esp files from your Fallout 3\Data\ folder

Bugs/Issues
===========
The Bloody Mess full dismemberment options don't seem to work right. Working on a fix.

Technical

Values tweaked were the game settings:
No dismemberment: iCombatDismemberPartChance=0(Default 50%)
Less dismemberment: iCombatDismemberPartChance=25 (Default 50%)
More dismemberment: iCombatDismemberPartChance=80 (Default 50%)
Always dismember: iCombatDismemberPartChance=100 (Default 50%)
No exploding body parts: iCombatExplodePartChance=0 (Default 75%)
Less exploding body parts: iCombatExplodePartChance=35 (Default 75%)
More exploding body parts: iCombatExplodePartChance=80 (Default 75%)
Always explode body parts: iCombatExplodePartChance=100(Default 75%)

Bloody Mess Settings:
No exploding torsos: iMessTorsoExplodChance=0 (Default 10%)
Less exploding torsos: iMessTorsoExplodChance=5 (Default 10%)
More exploding torsos: iMessTorsoExplodChance=35(Default 10%)
Always explode torsos: iMessTorsoExplodChance=100 (Default 10%)
No full dismemberment: iMessIntactLimbDismemberChance=0 (Default 15%)
Less full dismemberment: iMessIntactLimbDismemberChance=7 (Default 15%)
More full dismemberment: iMessIntactLimbDismemberChance=40 (Default 15%)
Always full dismemberment: iMessIntactLimbDismemberChance=100(Default 15%)
