And now the story of the 2 young gunsmith, by jarrod2303, i took hes work over,he gave up, has other things to do, did not elaborate.
HE-NUKEL&KOCH Armoryes was founded in the year 2272, when 2 young vault dwellers,
Tobias Henukel, and Martin Koch top of theyr class in engineering, quantum mechanics and physics,plus masters in chemistry, have stumbled upon the devastated factory of Springfield armories, where they have found tones of documents, weapon specs, and almost intact assembly line in the underground level of the main factory building, and then they got to work. First it was going slow, because they had to keep it secret from the savage parties of the well known raiders,
bandits and other wasteland assholes, but later, when they managed to start selling some
small quantityes of allready existing weapons found in the warehouses underneath the old factory.
they had enough money to hire some excellent fighters, creating a defense force around the factory , and hired people for work in the factory, things started to look promising.And it
was then when the two brilliant young man came up with the idea of making the factory mobile.
With theyr ingenuity managed too equip 4 buses (found in the Washington DC area, and of course
refurbished and made functional again)with everything for a mobile weapons workshop, These buses were equipped with 50 cal. machine guns, quad "Fat Man" batteries, and a crew of 12 gunners plus 8 weapons smiths.It also has its own built in foundry, engineered by HE-NUKEL&KOCH small enough and lightweight powered by fusion energy, from the miniaturized reactor each buss was equipped.
And after 5 years they were the number one weapon sellers in the United States of Wasteland (hehe). Then they suddenly dissapeard from the Capital Wasteland, and had gone to seek out new places in need of weapons, they headed towards New California if i heard well, but they will be back one day.
Until then, Children of the wastes enjoy the weapons they have left behind
