UPDATED .44 Magnum Replacement v1.1
DESCRIPTION
I was a little disappointed with the looks of the .44 compared to it's power so I edited the model a little and used Hi-Res Textures from the a-burns Hi-Res texture pack.
There are four options for this mod now:
1) .44 cal Replacement version - just changes the look of the normal .44 and changes the name to the Colt Anaconda.
2) .44 cal Addon version - This adds two new weapons. The Anaconda and the Marauder. The Anaconda is found on vendors with the same frequency as the vanilla .44. The Marauder is found at a popular shop in Rivet City. Also adds a little damage to both weapons compared to vanilla .44 in order to give a reason to use them. :)
3) .357 Replacement version - changed the look of the .44 as above and changed all .44 ammo to .357The Lincoln now uses .357 ammo with this version.
4) .357 Addon version - As #2 above except also adds .357 ammo for the new weapons to use and appears with the same frequency at vendors as the .44 ammo does.
Mesh edits - I removed the scope from the normal weapons but it's still on the Uniques.
Texture edits - I had to change the textures and move the UV references so, unfortunately, no texture replacers will work besides what is included in the archive file. I will alter other texture replacers if there is enough support for this mod.
This is just part of a larger mod I'm working on, The Armory. :) Hope you enjoy.
INSTALLATION
1) Unzip the archive into your data folder and click yes to overwrite any files, which there shouldn't be any unless you already have a .44 replacement mod.
2) Download and install the Fallout Mod Manager from http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=640 and activate the Archive Invalidation button.
3) Activate the .ESP file and Launch Fallout.
UNINSTALLATION
1) Remove the files located in the Archive from your data directory, they will be found in the same folders as are in the archive.
