You were born in 2258, the very same year when the Lone Wanderer was born in Jefferson Memorial. Your father is Captain Lucas Kaine, and your mother is Staff Sergeant Chloe Kaine. You, like every child born to the Enclave have one sole purpose: to serve your country, to serve your president and his goals. No questions asked. To restore America to what it once was, to what it is meant to become again for the time to come.

# DESCRIPTION
#########

The Eagle Has Landed is a main quest overhaul mod for Fallout 3 which replaces the original main questline with a new one, told from the Enclave's perspective. It is tied to the original main quest, with alterations to make this one fit in.

There will be 3 main chapters to the story:
1. THE EAGLE HAS LANDED
- Essentially the story of the original Fallout 3 told from the Enclave's perspective. Currently in playable BETA stage, you may give it a shot to see what this mod will be like.

Chapter one will be mainly straightforward, usual quest hopping. The main problem will be whether to use the FEV or not - it will be the single most important decision in EC.
2. OPERATION MERCURY
- Chapter 2 will take place soon after Chapter 1, and the main focus is destroying Brotherhood resistance and subjugating Wasteland settlements under Enclave control.

A lot of ethically troubling decisions will be met on the way. To exterminate the Ghouls or spare their lives? To butcher every Brotherhood member or risk fifth columnism by sparing them? Do you accept using live subjects in Enclave scientific experiments? Is it acceptable for Enclave troopers to fraternize with the locals?
3. ELECTION DAY
- Chapter 3 is set three years after Chapter 2 and features the Capital Wasteland under total Enclave control. Depending on your choices in the past two chapters it will be either a sympathetic rebooting of the pre-war system or a totalitarian military junta.

Election Day will, as name implies, deal with the political crisis between Eden and Autumn. Autumn has for long been tempted to oust Eden and assume full control on the basis that he feels Eden is incapable of leading the Enclave and sees his ways as far too radical. Autumn succeeds in calling for an election and it's up to you, the hero of the Enclave, to sway people for whichever side you support. Hardliners under Eden or the Moderates under Autumn? And know this: Whoever loses - is not going to take it lightly.

SIDE QUESTS

This mod will include a lot of side quests. They range from ones semi-mandatory to the main quest to flavor material.
For example, one quest will involve tracking down a high-profile Enclave deserter, one will deal with an Enclave trooper who has fathered a child with a local woman, one will involve opening Vault 101 and deciding its fate, and one quest will deal with hijacking Galaxy News Radio and converting it into an Enclave propaganda outlet.

The current version, the playable BETA includes the entire first chapter "The Eagle Has Landed". The first three quests (out of five) are very much playable and the two last ones may or may not be buggy.

I recommend giving this mod a shot, though remember that this is far from what it will be.

The current version is merely a BETA version. This means, the mod is not fully finished, voiced nor bugtested. It has been tested and tweaked enough to be bug-free for normal playthroughs.

# COMPATIBILITY
########

TEHL should work with most mods out there. Including Alternate Start mods, as long as TEHL is loaded after them. TEHL is compatible with FWE.

!!! IMPORTANT !!!
Load TEHL when playing it, deactivate when returning to normal playthroughs.

As has been mentioned, this is an ALPHA version. It works, but don't be surprised if you find any bugs. Most bugs so far have been detected, but reporting any is perfectly okay.
