Bandshirts v2.0 (final)
a Fallout 3 modification by Volek

<overview></overview>

This mod adds many rockband/musician t-shirts to the game, as well as several shirts not related to a band or music at all. Choose from different options to add the shirts into the gameworld.

I no longer support the Fallout 3 version. If I feel like re-installing F3, there might be a chance that I update this mod. In the meantime, CLICK HERE FOR THE NEW VEGAS VERSION! It has many additional shirts that do not appear in this version.

<features></features>

In the final FO3 version, there are 140 shirts in total.
Each shirt has unique enchantments, so they are actually worth wearing. Sometimes a bit overpowered, but this mod isn't lore-friendly anyways ;)

The main file includes only the Sublime shirt (for the merchant to wear) and the necessary meshes and normal maps. I sorted the other shirts into categories, each can be downloaded seperately:

<installation></installation>

1. Download the main file which contains the ESP files and the textures for the Sublime shirt. Extract the Data folder to your game folder.
2. Download the texture packs you like. Extract the Data folder of each pack to your game folder. DOWNLOADING THE ALL-IN-ONE PACK is highly recommended ;)
3. Start FOMM or FO3 launcher. Activate at least one of these files (or use all if you like):

Bandshirts_Crate.esp - Adds a crate with all shirts in front of Vault 101 for you dirty cheaters
Bandshirts_Merchant.esp - Adds a shirt merchant in Canterbury Commons, Uncle Roe's house (this is the original setting from v1.5 and earlier)
Bandshirts_NPCs - Adds the shirts to random NPCs, merchants, dressers, corpses etc... (spawn chance isnt very high, but it's far more immersive if you only activate this one)

IMPORTANT:
the esp files include all shirts, even if you don't install the texture packs. That means you will get graphic glitches when wearing a shirt of which you didnt install the textures. If you use Bandshirts_NPCs, it is highly recommended to install all texture packs.

NOTE:
If you updated from v1.5 or earlier, de-activate bandshirts.esp and activate one or more the new ESP files. Wait 3 in-game days for the vendor list to refresh. Or, if you dont care losing all shirts you already bought, deactivate the old ESP, save the game, and then activate the new ESPs.
You can overwrite the old texture files to save harddisk space, i've managed to compress the textures without loss or color bleeding. Now you need only 400 MB instead of 1.6 GB!

NOTE:
If you use a body replacer with custom armor meshes, locate the folder Data/Meshes/Armor/wastelandclothing05 and copy it's content into Data/Meshes/Bandshirts (overwrite files when asked). This is optional however, it should work with vanilla meshes too.

Make sure you have ArchiveInvalidation installed!

<uninstallation></uninstallation>

De-activate & delete the ESP files you installed.
In your Data folder, locate the folders Textures/Bandshirts and Meshes/Bandshirts and delete their content.

<issues other info></issues>

No bugs encountered. If you find any, please drop a message or comment.

There may be conflicts with mods that change Uncle Roe's house interior or the Vault 101 exterior area. The Bandshirts_NPCs.esp is 100% compatible with any other mod, as it adds the shirts to leveled lists by a script.

If you or a NPC wears a shirt and don't see the shirt design, but changing textures of rock/wood/anything, it means that you didnt install the texture for the shirt. Downloading and installing all packs is recommended.

<future plans></future>

If you have any knowledge in texturing, you are welcome to contribute. Send a PM for details. Of course you can create whatever shirt you like, and as long as it's not of a bullshit pop-project, i'll include it in this project.
However, i won't continue working on this FO3 version, all my future work will be for New Vegas.

<legal stuff></legal>

If you make any changes to this mod, or use any of the shirts in your own mod and want to release it, you must give credit and inform me.

I made some of shirts from real photos, for example the Led Zeppelin Vintage shirt. But most shirt designs have been taken from merchandize websites. I'm sorry if i violated any copyrights, please let me know if you are the copyright holder and don't want your design included in this mod, and i will remove it immediately.
