FORT BANNISTER
After ten days of digging by Bravo Company, covered by continued artillery fire by Delta Company, TSC Marines completed a set of three tunnels into Fort Bannister where they set up shaped charges into the bunker's walls. To lower the inevitable casualties in the kill zones Talon was sure to set up as fast as they could, the Commander spent the previous ten days in negotiation with the Capital Wasteland detachment of the Brotherhood of Steel and the Brotherhood Outcasts. In an agreement signed at the Anchorage War Memorial, the Brotherhood of Steel and the Brotherhood Outcasts would assist in the attack on Fort Bannister without fighting amongst themselves as partial payment for the deeds the Commander did for the Brotherhood and the Outcasts - recovering a GECK and saving the lives of Protector McGraw and Specialist Olin, respectively. For additional firepower, the mercenary group Reilly's Rangers was called in for support.
At ten in the morning, the Marines ceased bombardment and detonated the charges. Brotherhood Paladins and Outcasts stormed in the gaps and began cutting a swath through Talon Company, with the Marines taking down the survivors until the Brotherhood and Outcast offensive was brunted midway to Commander Jabsco's command post by the rallying of the mercenary captains. At that point, the Marines' work began in earnest. Though they took heavy casualties, Talon resistance was crushed by superior numbers, equipment, and skill. Only when they reached Jabsco's command post did they truly face difficulties. No matter how many times they shot at him, Jabsco simply refused to go down. Not even pulse grenades would do the trick, as his power armor was hardened against such attacks, as Josephus described. Eventually, he was brought down by the weight of several Brotherhood Paladins and Marines tackling him and stripping off his helmet. With their leader captured, the subjugation of the fort was complete.
Though the TSC killed over one hundred mercenaries and captured twenty, they paid a heavy price for the victory, suffering twenty-four dead and eighteen wounded, as well as two Paladins killed and three wounded and 3 Outcasts killed and three wounded. Jabsco, along with all Talon prisoners, begin their war crimes trials next week aboard the Olympus.
Carl "Butcher" of Reilly's Rangers received the Distinguished Civilian Service Medal for saving the lives of six Marines in the midst of the battle.

There are a few stragglers here and there but Talon is basically a spent force. They'll be encountered one more time and only in a small group of three.

They're disarmed. They'll also be taken out one at a time. Plus, in all those hundreds of years, the only successful escape attempt made was by the Commander. They'll know the tricks the Commander used to escape so it's unlikely they'll be able to repeat it. That and the only prison I know of in the Capital Wasteland is Germantown PD.

do you think it's wise to have a group of talon onboard the olympus? what if they escape and damage the life support?
