LINCOLN MEMORIAL
TSC Marines of 5th Platoon, Bravo Company, 4th Infantry Battalion were called in by the Commander to assist the escaped slaves of Temple of the Union in taken the memorial from the slavers there. Due to a desire to not further damage the memorial, the Marines were unable to bring in air support. However, it proved to be unnecessary as the Marines were able to storm the memorial with only one wounded after the slaver leader, Leroy Walker, was felled by Commander's Gauss rifle, resulting in the collapse of slaver morale.
When Hannibal Hamlin, leader of the escaped slaves, was later told that the TSC would construct an embassy at the memorial, he said, "How could I refuse? Without the TSC, we would not have this great symbol of abolition to shine as a beacon to all escaped slaves. If the TSC and its embassy continue the struggle for the freedom of all, then all the better."
