About this image

Bridget Collins: Not much is known about Bridget at this point. She is a young and somewhat naive woman living in the town of Megaton. She makes ends meet by scavenging the nearby ruins for items to sell, and occasionally gets gifts of caps and equipment from her older brother Daniel, when he has the time to visit her. Daniel is the only family she apparently has, as she has mentioned that she never really knew her parents. She has an adventurous spirit, and thoroughly enjoys heading out on new adventures in the Wasteland.

There is some mystery about her past however. It has been suggested that Bridget's last name is O'Hara, and not Collins. Whether this is a misunderstanding or not is yet to be revealed, as are the origin of her fangs.

Bridget is a friendly, yet lonely individual, with no real friends until she met a Pre-War android by the name of Cameron.

Cameron: Cameron is a Pre-War artificial intelligence (or A.I.) that was stationed at the Vault 101 Surface Monitoring Station. Cameron has not revealed much else about her past except that the only person she considered a friend is dead, and that she now feels "alone in a world not her own". Meeting Bridget Collins has changed that, giving Cameron a new friend in this strange, hostile world.

With Bridget as a guide, Cameron plans to explore this broken world in hopes of discovering what, if anything she can do to help the survivors of the atomic holocaust. She also intends to learn what it is to be human, hoping to "evolve" beyond her cold, machine logic, enabling her to, if nothing else, truly be a friend to Bridget.

Like Bridget, Cameron's past holds mysteries. Who created her and why, for what purpose? Will she truly work towards helping humanity, or are her plans more insidious?

I agree with UltraJet. The white background is distracting. But, I was just playing around with a weather mod, and it does change the skies pleasantly. Perhaps you will give it a try?

I have Xepha's Dynamic Weather sitting on my computer, and have never gotten around to installing it. Perhaps it is well past time I did? It couldn't hurt. And yes, Nevada Skies makes a huge difference with playing New Vegas.

    Thanks Bro <img class=">

    An interesting read.

And, as was said before; good to see you're back!

    Thanks BR <img class=">

Beautifully written - Bridget and Cameron's dialogues - and back stories - are a great deal of fun to read, and I'm always looking forward to the next part.

Hmm, what graphics editing program do you use? In photoshop there is a feature that can be used to sort of ..push things around. I've used it before to change eyebrow shapes and move the corners of mouths up or down. It's tricky to get just right and not look weird but it's been a big help to me

I am using a couple of versions of PhotoSuite, both of which are getting on in years. Mind you, I might be able to accomplish the same thing you are doing with Photoshop, I just have to look through all my options again. It also might not hurt to start messing around with GIMP and see what I can accomplish with that.

I'm so glad to finally see you posting again, don't forget your readers!
Anyway I got a few pet peeves here. Biggest one is the white background. That kept happening in my game until I figured out I need to turn down the brightness. Very annoying cause the sky turns back to normal but then everything else gets harder to see.
Also Bridget's face makeup is missing, I hope we can fix that..
...Man they look so cute together tho <img class=">

Yes, brightness, that thing...completely forget that I can adjust that with the game settings, duh... <img class="> Doing so will most likely help eliminate some of my frustrations with setting up shots. I am hoping we can adjust Bridget's appearance as well.

    Thanks UJ <img class=">

Everyone seems to like Bridget, so I must be doing something right with her so far <img class="> I need to play around more with facial expressions, as I just couldn't seem to get Bridget to smile enough in this one. Mind you, I did remember to give her back her nose ring and chain finally <img class=">

    Thanks <img class=">
