Name: Xepha's Darker Nights Version: 1.0 Date: 2009/08/03 Category: Gameplay Effects and Changes Author(s): Xepha Source: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8174 Description =========== Adds darker nights to Fallout 3. Details ======= Vanilla Fallout 3's nights are simply way too bright - this mod aims to change all that. With gameplay in mind and a little, supposed, human night vision, nights aren't pitch black, but they are very dark. Out in the wastes with a clear sky overhead, expect to have some visibility at near distances. "Moonlight" (whether you can see the moon or not) will improve visibility somewhat. Cloudy areas (eg. around the DC areas) will significantly reduce visibility at near distances whilst slightly improving visibility at medium distances (due to fog). All changes were made with a view to keeping the original Fallout 3 colours and "feel" in mind - I just made them darker. And in doing so, I found the Wasteland becomes quite an eeie and creepy place at night. =:O Install ======= 1. Extract Xepha's Darker Nights.esp file to your \Fallout 3\Data\ folder. 2a.
